Thank you for your interest in performing in the 2010 Education and Social Work Revue! Please read the information below, then complete the form provided.
Why should I audition?
The 2010 Education and Social Work Revue Society will be holding auditions for singers and actors in weeks 9 and 10 of Semester 1 this year. These auditions will give you the opportunity to get involved in the Revue performances which will take place in September this year.
These auditions will allow you to demonstrate your performance skills for our directing team who will consider you for both major and chorus parts in the Revue production. Revues are a lot of fun, and it is a great way to get involved with the social side of your faculty.
What do I need to do?
You must audition in order to perform in the Revue — to register your interest, complete the form provided below. You will receive a confirmation email from our Directors informing you of your audition date and time.
In the application form you will need to decide whether you want to audition individually or in a group. If you are auditioning individually you will need to prepare a short dramatic piece of no more than 1 minute, and/or an A Capella song of no more than 1 minute duration.
If you select to audition in a group, you will be asked to sing a well known song and perform a neutral script which will be provided on the day. If you would like to audition with a friend, please email the Directors at director@edswrevue.com and choose the same audition time.
Please note:
- Music (instrumental) and dance auditions will take place later in the semester.
- You may select to audition for singing, acting or both.
- You must have a 2010 Access Card to perform in the Revue.
- There may be further auditions for specific roles later on in the year.
- If you can't make any audition time after attempting to arrange another time with the directors, you can submit a video audition to director@edswrevue.com
