How do I join?
Membership of the Education and Social Work Revue Society is free. Visit our stall at O-Week and put your name down for the Society, or email the Secretary at secretary@edswrevue.com. You'll need to give us your name, contact details and ACCESS card number.
Who can join?
All University of Sydney students with ACCESS cards can join the Education and Social Work Revue Society. If you don't have an ACCESS card, get in touch with us anyway and we will add you to our mailing list for upcoming events. You can still attend events, but you will unable to enjoy the benefits of being a member - these include cheaper prices at all events, participation in the revue, voting at meetings and more.
So I'm a member... now what?
As a member of the Education and Social Work Revue Society, you can get involved in a number of ways. Here are just a few ways in which you can enrich your University of Sydney experience:
1) Come to our events!
The Society will be hosting a number of fundraisers and social events throughout the year. These events are an excellent opportunity to meet other Education and Social Work students and let off some steam. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay posted about the dates and times of our events.
2) Get involved in the Society
We need your help to ensure that this year's Revue will be spectacular. There are a number of official roles that need to be filled before rehearsals are due to begin. We're looking for organised and energetic members to get involved in running the Society, so have a look at the available positions. If you'd like to get involved, contact the Secretary at secretary@edswrevue.com.
3) Be a part of the Revue production
As the Revue gets underway, we'll need people to make it the best production that it can be. We're looking for enthusiastic, committed students who want to get involved at various stages of the production - from acting, singing and dancing to set decoration, costuming, ushering, fundraising and ticket sales. Get in contact with us if you want to be involved!
4) Come to watch the Revue!
It's a great night out, and an un-missable part of the University experience.
5) Tell your friends!
We are a new Society so the more people learn about us, the better. By spreading the word, you'll help to make this year's Education and Social Work Revue the best production it can be.
